Taboo language and racial slurs - Is REALLY there a good moment for use of them?

Taboo language is used by many people. While some groups see this kind of way of expression as dirty and disgusting, others consider it as dirty, fun and the best way to emphasize what they disagree or agree.

With regard to the racial slurs, there are people who defend the use of them in especific moments, as only among friends, for example. In the other hand, there are people who disagree with the use of them no matter the situation.

There are opinions a lot about as taboo language as racial slurs, and I have mine. For me, dirty words - in this case, taboo language - are as their name suggests: dirty. If I want to emphasize my annoyance or point of view, I use other words from vocabulary. “That’s so Puritan! You shouldn’t be so picky, and sometimes it is necessary to express your real feelings. Let yourself to use these words which make you free.” I AM free to use ALL words which I want and DO NOT use what I dislike, right? So, I respect who use them and I want to be dealed with respect.

Sometimes I use some “racial slurs” with my father. I put that expression in inverted commas because I call him, in Portuguese, “you black”, “after midnight”, “negão (it can be translated as “nigga”, “so black”, or the like)”, but just for fun between me and him. I don’t use them in order to humiliate him. I hate prejudice and the use of whatever word for offensive purposes. (Maybe I will suffer with racial slurs when I will travel abroad. Even though I am not hit by them so hardly right now, I put myself in who suffer with it shoes.)

In addition to all I have already said, I believe the words have power. The meaning from each of them must be considered. A word which is normal and polite, or just fun here can be not the same to a especific group. I, we can use several words to express our individual viewpoint of all, but this fact is not a reason that I have to be act as a idiot. Whatever either my or your opinion, every action causes a reaction.
